The Quilter Magazine did an article on a young man named Malcom who is only 15 years of age and trying to spread much needed awareness about childhood cancers. 1 - 320 children will be diagnosed with cancer under the age of 21. 7 children will die today from cancer. Please take a moment to read this article. At the time this article was written, Cory's picture was sitting on a desk waiting to be sewn onto the quilt (3rd page), it has since been sewn on and is now part of the display. Make Some Noise / The National Angel Quilt is trying hard to get a mall in the Boston area to let them display this quilt and bring much needed awareness to childhood cancers. They have a tentative date of Dec 6th, 7th and 8th and have reached out to the Burlington Mall but received a no. They have attempted 4 times at the Northshore Mall but have not heard back as of yet and they still have not heard back from Copley. Won't you please help us make this happen!
